Solo exhibition - Permanent Vacation
From May to October 2024, a curated selection of prints from my long-term project, Permanent Vacation, was proudly exhibited at the Leica Gallery in Copenhagen, Denmark.
This series is a deeply personal exploration of escapism, a celebration of color, and the carefree optimism found in fleeting, sun-soaked moments.
The Permanent Vacation project is rooted in the concept of an eternal holiday - a mindset where the senses are heightened, connections with nature feel effortless, and the world appears vibrant and full of possibility. With each image I want to invite viewers to immerse themselves in this joyful perspective, creating a visual escape from the monotony of daily life.
Growing up in Scandinavia, where sunlight is a rare commodity for much of the year, I’ve always been acutely aware of how the absence of color and light shapes our longing for them. For many Scandinavians, the sun becomes more than a source of warmth; it’s a source of renewal and inspiration. This long-term project is my way of not only dreaming beyond the monochrome palette of Scandinavian winter but also examining how vibrant, sunlit imagery can evoke a sense of timeless joy and transport the viewer to a state of Permanent Vacation.

that transform how we see the everyday.”
